Overall Assistance for Startup Immigration System(OASIS) 

 

 ■ OASIS-1  Intellectual Property Class (Basic Course) 

 

◦ (Objectives) Provide basic courses required toacquire (apply for) intellectual property rights and required

  to stay in Korea

 

(Details) Total of 18 hours (2-3 hours a day, 2 weeks) all courses are provided in Englich and a minimum        80% of attendance is required for course completion

 ■ OASIS-2  Intellectual Property Class (Advanced Course) 

 

◦ (Objectives) Provide the advanced courses necessary to acqure (apply for) intellectual property rights and

◦ (Details) total of 18 hours (2-3 hours a day, 12 days) all courses are provided in English and a minimum 80%

 ■ OASIS-3  Intellectual Property Application Support 

 

◦ (Objectives) Support of the intellectual property application fee for outstanding items with creativity among

   those who complete the basic courses

 

◦ (Details) provide within the fee range for application and written opinion submission within the entire  

   application procedure (50%), one time per person, and only for patent, utility model and design(except for

   trademark)

 ■ OASIS-4  Start-up Class 

 

◦ (Objectives) Basic start-up course for foreigners who are equipped with basic technologies for business

  start-up

 

◦ (Details) total 20 hours (two hours a day, 3 weeks), all lectures are provided in English, and a minimum 80%

 ■ OASIS-5  Start-up Coaching and Mentoring 

 

◦ (Objectives) expert coaching and mentoring on those issues required for start-up including location

   selection, market survey, and consumer analysis

 

◦ (Details) minimize start-up failure rate early on through one-on-one coaching from start-up

   immigration mentor or experts, experience sharing and site visit

 

☞ Minimum 3 month long mentoring and one-on-one coaching is recognized as points

 

 

 ■ OASIS-6  Invention, Start-up Exhibition 

 

 (Objectives) find opportunities to identify foreigner creative intellectual property ideas and start-

  up items, open sales channels and connect invstors, etc.

 

 

 (Details) find opportunities to identify immigrant preliminary technology-related start-up

  outstanding invention and start-up items, and for technology transaction and investment  

  counseling etc.

 

 

 ■ OASIS-7  Graduation from Start-up Incubation (Provide a Space for Start-up) 

 

 (Objectives) Provide stable start-up environment by giving the required space to individuals who

  are prepared for start-up.

 

 

 (Details) provide a space for initial start-up to individuals who have completed creation of

  intellectual property, start-up support programs with outstanding performance or those who have

  received awards at invention, start-up exhibitions.

 

☞ The six-month time period after moving in the start-up incubation is considered graduation.

 

 

 ■ OASIS-8  Graduation from Start-up Incubation (Provide a Space for Start-up) 

 

 (Objectives) Support establishment of corporation, imperative to achieve start-up visa for  

  successful start-up immigration.

 

 (Details) Support preparation procedure and administrative affairs for corporation establishment

  to help foreigners obtain a start-up visa.

 

☞ Comprehensive assistance in administration and corporate registration required to establish

    corporation.

 

 

 ■ OASIS-9  Support Start-up Item Commercialization 

 

 (Objectives) promote successful start-up immigration with policy support of those issues required

  early on.

 

 (Details) provide initial commercialization expenses, connet with R&D, post management, etc .

 

☞ Select individuals who are to start up a business or who have at least one year in business after a

    start-up among those with start-up visas
